We deliver the EYFS curriculum via our child led approach, providing fun and engaging play opportunities with all resources being accessible to the children at all times. We make adjustments where necessary
in order to boost every child's cultural capital and reduce inequality.
We promote independence and actively encourage children to explore and create however they want
and with whichever items they choose. This extends to health and self care practices.
We embrace mess! (with safety of course remaining of paramount importance).
Mess indicates fun being had and learning taking place. Equally, we involve the children in the clearing up,
It’s their Clubhouse for them to enjoy so we encourage them to respect it and it’s contents.
We support the children in assessing risk and in problem solving for themselves.
We involve the children in our plans and centre our play around individual children’s interests as well as observing cultural festivals and current local events, we do this by adding enhancements to our environment.
'Not all classrooms have four walls'
We get out and about in the local community giving the children a wealth of experiences and play
opportunities in the real world. We use public transport to travel further afield.
Working together with parents we actively encourage British values such as respect and good manners, positively reinforcing these values by way of modelling such behaviour.

Our History
Our History
The Clubhouse itself was created from scratch by our manager and her partner. It has been a labour of love as they personally transformed an empty commercial premises, replicating all the home comforts the existing children in our care had come to know and love. Providing much needed consistency and reassurance particularly for those who's needs relied heavily on familiarity and routine.
The children were at the heart of every decision made and very much involved every step of the way
providing design input and ideas. They were as excited as we were about the new building.
5 years on now, the building has evolved with us, seeing many improvements take place along the way.
We are constantly reflecting on our practice and our environment.
If an area or aspect isn't working we change it.
